Dr. Born

Following his undergraduate studies at Creighton University, Dr. Born continued there at the School of Dentistry to receive his dental degree. He then, went on to New Mexico State University, where he received his M.B.A. Dr. Born also completed an internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center – Children’s Hospital. After serving as a dentist in the U.S. Army for five years, he opened his private practice in 1985.

Dr. Born is a Fellow of the American Institute of Oral Biology and a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, New Mexico Dental Association, Southwest District Dental Society, Pankey Institute, Kois Center for Restorative Excellence, Louisiana State University Cosmetic Continuum and the Buchanan Dental Education Laboratories. He is also active in his community, as a supporter of the YWCA, Kentock Coloner and serves as a member of the Board of Directors at the Dona Ana County Humane Society.

Dr. Born enjoys running marathons, including the Los Angeles, Rock-n-roll and San Diego Ironman marathons. He also enjoys bowling, hiking, ceramics and music.
